Cars Concerts and Causes 2009 was a great success!!  Thank you to everyone who helped in anyway or form and especially to you who came out, donated and participated in the concert!  It was a great day, with great music, great fun, and a wonderful cause, Sanctuary Pre-Teen Drop In Centre!!

Hey, catch Andy from BlackLightProphet and Ed from Fear Zero on the ‘Wayne and Jane Show’ tomorrow (Thursday July 9th, 2009) on All Hit KBS!!!!

We have some great stuff going on for the whole family! Kids, there’s a bouncy castle and keep an eye out for something big and red……the Kootenay Boundary Regional Fire Rescue will have a truch out for all to see!!

Cars Concerts and Causes is driven by people power…….come listen to great bands and see great band and alll your donations go to aid Sanctuary and the good work they do!

The suggested donation is $5.00CAD; if you can give more, great, your generousity is appreciated!

‘Made in the Kootenays’ is a KBS program run by Brad Moore featuring local musicians and their art……

Hey  it’s Andy….one of the organizers of Cars Concerts and Causes……

Wanna keep up with what’s going on with all the background drama for the concert (or maybe just keep up with me on my eternal quest to find a great cup of coffee…..)?  Keep an eye on the Twitter log (right) and stay up to date with all the prep, organization and ideas…….

The theme of Cars Concerts and Causes is to get behind a great community cause…..and Sanctuary is just such a great community cause!  If you are an individual who would like to financially support this great cause, there will be plenty of opportunity to do so at the Concert!

Since the concert is by donation,  proceeds including the 50/50 draw, the raffle and sales of cd’s, tshirts and other merchandise will go to Sanctuary.  You can also make a tax deductible charitable contribuiton directly to Sanctuary.

If you are a business which would like to get behind this great cause, there are several options by which you can support Sanctuary and this event.  Please contact us using the ‘Volunteer/Info’ section (bottom right) and we would be happy to discuss your involvement!

A little goes a long way, so get plugged in, contribute and make a difference in our community!
